Led by Mario Vargas, the CRKT kayak team has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience over the years on how to help fellow boaters imporve their skills. We’ve become good listeners and we strive to not lose focus of your priorities and specific goals. We’ve learned to be sensitive to each paddler, as we’ve learned how each individual truly has his/her own learning curve. If your feeling confident and bold, and you with to push your limits and test your skills, we’ll double-up on safety considerations first, and then turn up the intensity notch. As always our top priorities do not change, which is paddler safety and personal enjoyment.

Be candid about your level of confidence, and tell us about the areas you’d like to improve. It may be technical aspects, such as boofing pour-overs, or playboating tricks OR maybe you’d like to explore whitewater settings that are unfamiliar to you such as continuous high volume or self-support multi-day descents.
